ink cap
branding, hand drawn type
a hand-drawn ink cap is a hand-drawn display font. Its letters, numbers and glyphs are pen and ink drawings of flora and fauna inspired by a portland forest. a variety of mushrooms, ferns, moths and other friends of the forest are featured throughout the letterforms. The hand-drawn type is based off of helevtica neue bold. the thick shapes of the typeface lent itself well to allow entire forest environments to live within its boundaries. ink cap is intended to be used as a large display font or as individual letter forms. possible uses include signage, product labeling, book covers or a title case for article headlines.
